Prof. Benjamin W. Wah

Introduction: Benjamin W. Wah is a Research Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Franklin W. Woeltge Professor Emeritus of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Previously, he served as the Provost and Wei Lun Professor of Computer Science and Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as the Franklin W. Woeltge Endowed Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Professor of the Coordinated Science Laboratory of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA. Wah received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, CA, in 1979. He has received many awards for his research and service contributions, including the IEEE-CS W. Wallace-McDowell Award (2006), the IEEE-CS Richard E. Merwin Award (2007), the IEEE-CS Tsutomu Kanai Award (2009), the Distinguished Alumni Award in Computer Science of the University of California, Berkeley (2011), and the Bronze Bauhinia Star of the Hong Kong Self Administrative Region (2021). Wah's research interests are nonlinear search and optimization, multimedia technologies, and artificial intelligence. Wah co-founded the IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering in 1988 and served as its Editor-in-Chief between 1993 and 1996. He is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of Computers and Education: Artificial Intelligence and the Honorary Editor-in-Chief of Knowledge and Information Systems. In addition, Wah served the IEEE Computer Society in various capacities, including Vice President for Publications (1998 and 1999) and President (2001). He is a Fellow of the AAAS, ACM, and IEEE.

Prof. Xun Zhang

Beijing Normal University, China

Introduction: Xun Zhang is a Second-Class Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Statistics, Beijing Normal University. He currently serves as the Associate Dean of the Research Academy and Director of the Office of Social Sciences. In 2010, he earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Science from Sun Yat-sen University, and in 2015, he received his Ph.D. in Economics from Peking University. He was selected for the National Young Talents Program in 2019, promoted to professor ahead of schedule in 2021, appointed as a National Distinguished Professor in 2022, and elevated to Second-Class Professor in 2024.

His primary research interests include the digital economy and digital finance, economic statistics, and regional economics. He has published numerous papers in leading domestic and international journals such as *Social Sciences in China*, *Economic Research Journal* (8 articles), *Management World* (6 articles), and *Journal of Banking & Finance*, with several papers recognized as ESI Highly Cited Papers. He has led multiple research projects, including a Key Project of the National Social Science Fund, General and Youth Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), among which his NSFC Youth Project received an "Outstanding" performance evaluation. He has received several prestigious awards, including the Huo Yingdong Young Scientist Award, the Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research from the Ministry of Education, and the Zhang Peigang Young Scholar Award in Development Economics.

Additionally, he serves as a consulting expert for the Asian Development Bank, sits on the editorial boards of several Chinese and English academic journals, and holds council positions in multiple academic associations.

Prof. Zibin Zheng

Sun Yat-sen University, China

IEEE Fellow、IET Fellow

Introduction: ZibinZheng, Ph.D., is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, an IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, and ACM Distinguished Scientist. He has been consecutively recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher globally and is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Digital Home and the Director of the Guangdong Provincial Engineering Research Center for Blockchain Technology.

His long-term research focuses on trustworthy large models, software reliability, program analysis, blockchain, and smart contracts. He has published numerous high-quality papers in these fields, with over 48,000 citations on Google Scholar and an H-index of 97. He has led several major research projects, including those under the National Key R&D Program and the Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His research achievements have been honored with awards such as the Second Prize of Natural Science Award from the Ministry of Education, the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Natural Science Award (Second Prize), the ACM China Rising Star Nomination Award, the IEEE TCSVC Rising Star Award, and the CCF Technical Committee on Services Computing Outstanding Young Researcher Award.

He serves as an Associate Editor for international journals including *TOSEM*, *TSC*, *TVT*, and *OJCS*. He has also served as the Co-Chair for international conferences such as ICSS 2022 and IEEE SMDS 2021, and as the Program Co-Chair for conferences including ICSOC 2023 and SC2 2019.

Prof. Haiqiang Chen

Shenzhen University, China

Introduction: Haiqiang Chen, Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University, USA, is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Financial Technology of Shenzhen University. He is the Principal Investigator of two Key Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and was selected as a National Young Talent by the Ministry of Education in 2020. He has also been recognized as a New Century Excellent Talent in Fujian Province Universities and a High-Level Introduced Talent in Xiamen City. Previously, he served as the Deputy Dean of the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics at Xiamen University and the Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Econometrics of the Ministry of Education (Xiamen University).

Prof. Feng Guo

Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, China

Introduction: FengGuo, Ph.D. in Economics from Fudan University and Postdoctoral Fellow in Finance at Peking University, is currently a Chair Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Chair of the Department of Investment at the School of Public Economics and Investment at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He also serves as Co-Director of the Integration of Digital and Real Economy & Intelligent Decision-Making Laboratory, Deputy Dean of the Wells Fargo ESG Research Institute, a Dual-Appointed Professor at Dishui Lake Advanced Institute of Finance, and a Special Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Digital Finance at Peking University. He has been honored as a "Changjiang Young Scholar" by the Ministry of Education and a "Shanghai Dawn Scholar."
His research primarily covers areas such as the digital economy and digital finance, machine learning and big data analytics, and public economics. He has published over 60 papers in leading Chinese and international journals, including *Economic Research Journal* (2 papers), *Management World* (3 papers), *China Economic Quarterly* (6 papers), *Journal of Management Sciences in China*, *Research Policy*, *Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization*, and *China Economic Review*. Additionally, he has published over 90 economic commentaries in mainstream media, authored or co-authored four academic monographs and textbooks, and contributed to several other publications. He has led more than 10 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Foundation of China, and the Shanghai Social Science Foundation.

Prof. Weixing Cai

Guangdong University of Finance & Economics

Introduction: Weixing Cai,Visiting Scholar at the University of Bristol, UK; Nanling Distinguished Chair Professor at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. Currently serves as Dean of the School of Finance at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, Director of the National Finance Research Center, and Lead for the National First-Class Undergraduate Program.


Has presided over multiple national and provincial-level research projects, including a Key Project of the National Social Science Fund and a Youth Project of the National Natural Science Fund, as well as government-commissioned projects such as the *Guizhou Province "14th Five-Year Plan" Financial Reform and Development Plan*. Academic papers have been published in Chinese journals including *Management World* and *Journal of Financial Research*, as well as in English journals such as *International Journal of Accounting* and *Emerging Markets Review*. Research findings have been recommended by academic institutions such as SSRN. Policy advisory reports have been submitted to the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, the General Office of the State Council, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and various local governments, with feedback received from national and provincial-level leaders.
